Our destination was the Walt Disney Family Museum on Tuesday, November 18th. We were fortunate to meet Ron Miller, Producer and son-in-law of Walt Disney, as we explored and enjoyed the displays in the museum. And… we learned that November 18th was Mickey Mouse’s 82nd Birthday!
October’s Cooking Demonstration had a Fall / Halloween theme. Gary Christo, Director of Environment Services and Denise Dugan, Director of Business Office, demonstrated how to prepare Frankenstein Finger Cookies and Pumpkin Soup served in mini pumpkins. The soup was warm and yummy and the Frankenstein Cookies were creepy and tasty!
Flappers and Gangsters were the theme of our Prohibition Dinner on October 30th. Password required to enter the Dining Room: “Joe sent me.” Music of the Roaring ’20s filled the room and drinks were served from paper bags… Shhh!

Our first Dog Show benefiting Watermark for Kids was a huge hit! Lots of dogs and kids and families and fun for everyone. We had popcorn and hot dogs, face painting, and live entertainment provided by Gary and Joy Christo. Thanks to everyone for bringing their wonderful dogs and families for such a fun day!
