The Gardens living room was decorated with multi-colored hanging “papel picado” and pretty “serape” runners for our tables. The ladies wore bright colorful traditional Jalisco dresses from Mexico and beautiful flowers in their hair, while the men each donned a black mustache and sombrero hat! Even the staff joined the fiesta. We had a piñata filled with goodies and dessert the colors of the Mexican flag: green, white, and red. Both the residents and the associates danced to music, laughed, posed for photos, and had a great time this Cinco de Mayo!
