It is important to all of us at The Watermark at Rosewood Gardens to help each and every resident thrive. One of the ways we do this it through enhancing their everyday experiences through parties, themed events, adventures and other memorable experiences.
Recently we held a cocktail party to celebrate Fat Tuesday/Mardi Gras and the beginning of the Lenten season. We listened to the music of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, created unique Mardi Gras masks, while enjoying cocktails and mocktails.
Lona (pictured below) often tells us art is too hard and confusing, but somehow when we add in a friend, some laughter and lots of smiles; those things that used to seem daunting all of a sudden bring joy.
Our residents enjoyed creating something different as they laughed, sang and danced with their friends, before heading off to an authentic Cajun meal planned by Chef Yamil.
