Gladys Walker has been a resident here at The Watermark at Rosewood Gardens for almost fifteen years. During this time, she has been involved in just about every activity we offer. She has always been avid about her fitness routines and reading as well as enjoying crafts and social gatherings.
This week we were all thrilled to be able to help Gladys celebrate her 100th Birthday! Gladys isn’t able to read with her eyes anymore and she misses it very much. She also truly enjoys music.
Gladys was just thrilled at her gift form The Watermark; her very own iPod! She can’t wait for audio books and music.
Upon getting music loaded; Gladys tried out her new toy. She first listened to one of her old favorites “Moon River” When she was asked what she thought about it; she replied “I am just so happy”. Next week we start putting together Gladys’s Audio Book Library
