Monday was a glorious day to enjoy California’s Sierra Foothills. So glorious in fact that our group of sixteen jumped in our bus and hightailed it up to Columbia State Historic park for lunch and a taste of the old west.
We couldn’t have asked for more beautiful weather or a more perfect experience. We ate a lovely meal, enjoyed musicians at every turn, visited several museums and the oldest standing one room schoolhouse in the United States. We also did a little “souvenir” shopping at the famous Columbia Candy Kitchen, because well, it is there.
