Go back to Life at The Watermark at Rosewood Gardens

Watermark Retirement Communities cares as much about the young as it cares about the old.

That’s why this amazing organization created “Watermark for Kids,” a 501c3 whose mission is to “empower underserved kids to express their character, leadership, creativity, compassion and spirit – to express their true selves and thrive.” For more information on Watermark for Kids please click here.

Watermark is also a great friend of LVJUSD schools & of LVEF. Watermark’s Livermore community, The Watermark at Rosewood Gardens, has partnered with Livermore High School in creating two innovative programs for Rosewood Gardens residents: an “Inventors’ Fair”, in which LHS engineering students invented devices to make residents’ lives easier; and a writing project in which LHS students works with residents to record their life stories.

And, Watermark for Kids helped sponsor LVEF’s Harlem Wizards fundraiser, and co-funded “Art Across the Ages,” an LVEF program which provides scholarships for LVJUSD after-school art classes.

Watermark’s latest philanthropic initiative is the “Grab and Go Dinners” fundraiser. On Friday, June 24, you can purchase a delicious take-home dinner at Rosewood Gardens for just 99 cents. Choose either a Pulled Pork Sandwich with pickled red onions, or Spinach Mushroom Chicken Lasagna, prepared in Watermark’s kitchen by Executive Chef Yamil Abed. 100% of proceeds benefit Watermark for Kids, to help make more kids’ dreams come true.

Enjoy delicious, healthy food at a fantastic price, for a great cause. June 24th only.
